Summary of EA2 two two twoooot

To conclude....
I really wanted to make an interactive installation, that involved using digital media but i just couldn't work something out that was effective with use of the resources i had.
I wanted to explore tones of colours and see if people could see an obvious difference and see my picture or not notice anything at all.
I don't think this project was resolved very successfully for me, i found a lot of interesting artists and facts about vision and colour through my research but didn't manage to pull this together and make something i liked.
I re-made bars and tone with different tones of colour instead of sound. Partly because i have never really worked with sound and am apprehensive about using it and also it would have driven me insane having that droning on a loop all day.
When making this it was interesting to see how different programs read different colours. When i was rotoscoping the clips in Photoshop, i thought i had matched the colours really closely together so that the eyes were barely visible. When i put all the frames back into premiere it was blatantly obvious that there was a moving picture amongst the bars, so i had to go back and change the colour again. This was quite an interesting find because i thought my eyesight was good. tear.
Went to Spencer Finch's exhibition at DPAG because colour is the main concern in his works. I wasn't very impressed with that particular exhibition but some of his other works are cool and can be found here on his website.

I'm over it bring on project 3.
